About me
I specialise in beauty make up, but I also enjoy exploring traditional beauty representations of different cultures.
It all started when I was a guest at my friend’s Indian wedding, but when the assigned makeup artist failed to deliver I had to step up and do what I could to help. I have learnt a lot since then, but it will always be my proud moment, which encouraged me to start my MUA journey. As the wedding progressed I also did make up for some guests, the bride’s mom and even the groom. This is when I realised that beauty should be accessible to everyone, no matter their age or gender.
In addition, I live in Shanghai which gives me an opportunity to be close to and familiar with Asian beauty trends. It is a fashion hub, where artists of all fields can fulfil their creative ideas and form interesting collaborations.
For me make up is all about enhancing the natural beauty and making you feel like you, but on a good day. Make up is skin deep but its effects are not, sometimes we all need a confidence boost or just a simple reminder of how unique and individual we are.
I’ve known Hanna to be a one-of-a-kind woman and friend, but when I discovered her knowledge in the world of make-up and beauty, I started appreciating her even more. During our photo shoot together she made me feel one-of-a-kind as well, and beautiful in ways that I didn’t expect! I'm not very good with makeup, I feel it’s boring to watch makeup tutorials, that's why I never really learned how to do nice makeup. Hanna explained it to me in a very understandable language. She is full of knowledge and patient about makeup. Now I'm a little better with my makeup.
